Art Adventures
Art Adventures is exactly what the name implies . . . it’s a exciting journey through the scenic world of art and art collecting, as told by art appraisers examining art work collected by people from all over the nation. These appraisers will guide our viewers to the most interesting aspects of art and artist by revealing the art stories created by the owners. This show is a colorful collection of real life examples of people turning trash into treasures. See the dumpster diver who rescued a piece of California Art worth $1,500. One American Impressionist painting was acquired from the artist in exchange for a suit, one was given to the yard man because the artist didn’t like the piece. Both were worth over $5,000. The show has real life examples of novice buyers acquiring fabulous works of art for nominal amounts. See how friends and family of artists eventually take their art to market.

Each episode of the first season will introduce the viewer to 13 different art genres as listed below. The theme of each episode will be a thread throughout the show supported by appraisers interviews, art appraisals and art facts used as bumpers to breaks. The genres are: California Art, 18th Century Art, 19th Century Art, 20th Century Art, Latin American Art, American Impressionist, Modern Art, Asian Art, Animation Art, Prints, Stolen or Fraudulent Art, Living Artist, Classic Portraits.

Each 30 minute show will contain 6 minutes of commercial time spread over 4 90 second commercial breaks.
